Our Story

 In a city filled with trendy restaurants, Si Laa stands strong as a family-owned local favorite. Chef-owner Ben Yenbamroong opened the doors in May 2009 with the help of her mother (affectionately known simply as Grandma) in the kitchen and her eldest daughter Lynn running the front of house. Her youngest daughter Nida joined the team in 2013.

Si Laa features Grandma’s traditional recipes as well as Ben’s own creations inspired by the delicious flavors reminiscent of her childhood in Bangkok. Everything is prepared in-house with a commitment to the highest quality raw ingredients, whether imported from Thailand or sourced locally. This attention to detail results in unparalleled freshness and a perfect balance of Thai flavors in each dish: a mouthwatering blend of sweet, spicy, salty, and/or sour.

Opened and operated by three generations, Si Laa values family above all. You can often catch extended members of the family stopping by for dinner on Sundays and Mondays. Join us to experience a home-cooked Thai meal, and let our family feed yours!
